The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinkaid shoots in looking for a takedown. Hammer tries to sprawl out of it but Kinkaid keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hammer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kinkaid shoots in and drives through. Hammer sprawls well.
Kinkaid doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hammer counters with an outside leg kick.
M C Hammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igz Kinkaid.
Hammer looks to throw the jab but Kinkaid is out of range.
Hammer cracks Kinkaid with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Igz Kinkaid has been cut.
Hammer is looking to land body kicks.
Kinkaid has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Horrible takedown by Kinkaid or perhaps it was just good defense by Hammer which made him look bad.
Kinkaid tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hammer defends well and Kinkaid ends up having to push Hammer into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kinkaid has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hammer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hammer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Hammer cracks Kinkaid with a hook to the temple - Kinkaid is on wobbly legs here! Hammer swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Kinkaid falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Hammer wins by TKO!
