Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brz Kucelj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Dogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dogg has chosen Kickstart My Heart as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brz Kucelj!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ron Dogg!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kucelj closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kucelj misses with a double jab.
Kucelj cracks Dogg with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kucelj closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dogg sneaks back into half guard.
Dogg is concentrating on defense, preventing Kucelj from advancing position.
Dogg manages to get to full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kucelj trying to control but Dogg is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dogg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kucelj pinned against the cage. Kucelj gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kucelj drives through with a takedown into Dogg's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Kucelj trying to control the position from guard on top but Dogg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kucelj has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dogg to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kucelj is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dogg pulls down on the head and he's put Kucelj to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ron Dogg!
