Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Comanche Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers comes to the cage accompanied by Avatar - Let It Burn. Nathan Summers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Summers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Comanche Todd! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Todd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Summers was well out of range. Poor timing from Todd. Summers clinches with his opponent.
Summers wants a takedown.
Todd gets underhooks to prevent Summers's takedown attempt.
Summers goes for a takedown in the clinch but Todd prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Summers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Summers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Todd is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Todd is pressed up against the cage. Summers has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Todd down to the mat. Todd avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Todd fails to land with a series of punches.
Summers tries to clinch up. Todd lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Nathan Summers has been cut. Summers tries to clinch up. Todd sizes up Summers with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Summers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Summers on the wrong end of a nice jab. Summers tries to clinch but Todd is having none of it. Todd lands with a nice body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Todd displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Summers. Comanche Todd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Todd dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Summers lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Summers dives in for a single leg takedown but Todd sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Todd manages to break the clinch.
Summers misses with a takedown attempt - Todd sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Summers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Todd sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Summers somewhat. Summers drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Todd throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice cross by Todd. Summers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Todd avoids it really well and circles away. Todd is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Summers tries to clinch and Todd counters with a crisp right that sends Summers to the canvas! Todd follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Comanche Todd! During a confident post fight interview, Comanche Todd thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
