Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gaston Fanta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pollux Ulysses (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pollux Ulysses will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fanta throws a lazy right hand but Ulysses sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Ulysses throws an overhand right that lands on Fanta's shoulder, as Fanta tries to avoid the shot.
Ulysses dips to his left and cracks Fanta with an uppercut!

Fanta pushes Ulysses back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ulysses tries to circle away but Fanta has him pinned against the cage.
Ulysses pushes Fanta back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Fanta's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Pollux Ulysses dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Fanta fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ulysses manages to avoid it.
Nice straight punches there by Ulysses. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ulysses.
Ulysses clobbers Fanta with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Oh Fanta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fanta moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ulysses closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Fanta! Ulysses dives in looking to finish! Fanta is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
