Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Godefroy Gregorois De Durfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dance has chosen Roy Jones Jr - Cant Be Touched as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Godefroy Gregorois De Durfort!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Dance!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dance dives in for a single leg takedown but De Durfort sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dance has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. De Durfort is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Dance on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
De Durfort stops a takedown attempt from Dance.
Godefroy Gregorois De Durfort has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Dance.
Dance gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from De Durfort.
Dance prevents the takedown attempt.

De Durfort jumps guard and drags Dance to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dance engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Dance trying to control the position from guard on top but De Durfort is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
De Durfort not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Dance wants to control from the top but De Durfort keeps moving.
Dance pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. De Durfort is keeping the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dave Dance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
De Durfort wants to take the fight to the mat but Dance manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

De Durfort pulls guard successfully.
Dance stands up over De Durfort, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Dance postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dance trying to control but De Durfort is working from the bottom.
Dance throwing strikes but missing.
Dance lands a couple of decent looking shots.
De Durfort wants to sweep here but Dance controlling him for the moment.
Dance is pushing down on De Durfort's leg trying to pass to half guard. De Durfort is fighting to maintain full guard but Dance has managed to sneak the leg through.
De Durfort looks like he's trying to stand up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dance is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

De Durfort really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
De Durfort takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Dance landing strikes, looking to finish!
Dance avoids the attempt from De Durfort to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dance is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But De Durfort has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from De Durfort!
De Durfort stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dance swivels though and keeps the full guard.
De Durfort throws an elbow that misses. Dance uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in De Durfort's guard. Nice move by Dance!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dance wants to control from the top but De Durfort keeps moving.
Dance passes easily into side control. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
De Durfort is being controlled here.
Dance lands a few punches from side control.
Dance tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dance is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. De Durfort is trying to escape and Dance transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and De Durfort is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dance! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dave Dance!
After winning the bout, Dave Dance thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Godefroy Gregorois De Durfort spoke after the fight, saying 'That was bad day'.
