Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chandler has chosen Rocky's Theme Song as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rashad Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Chandler!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler throws a good cross that connects.
Evans tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chandler was well out of range. Poor timing from Evans.
Evans has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hilo Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Chandler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chandler throws a right and a left that Evans avoids nicely.
Chandler gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Evans trying to move into half guard but instead Chandler has managed to sweep!
Chandler stands and steps away. Evans gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Chandler lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Evans backs up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chandler jabs Evans right on the nose. Evans blinks but takes it well.
Chandler has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Evans is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Evans.
Chandler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Evans circles away quickly and effectively.
Evans fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chandler sprawls well initially but Evans persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Evans passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Chandler!
Chandler is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Evans is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Chandler can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chandler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Evans. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Evans postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Chandler in real trouble here! The ref calls for Chandler to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rashad Evans!

In defeat, Chris Chandler stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll be back better than before !'.
