The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turkulainen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Turkulainen misses with a lunging right hand
and Van Der Sar counters with a beautiful head kick that sends Turkulainen crashing to the mat! Oh, he's out! He's out! Van Der Sar is jumping up and down like a maniac, spit streaming from his mouthpiece, shouting and screaming at his corner. Wow, this obviously means a hell of a lot to him! What an outpouring of emotion.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Stefan Van Der Sar !
