Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutus Buffcake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duggan comes to the cage accompanied by The Language - Drake. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Duggan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brutus Buffcake!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Buffcake lands.
Buffcake swinging wildly here.
Duggan checks a low kick from Buffcake.
Nice takedown defense from Buffcake. No joy for Duggan on that attempt.
Buffcake tries to bum rush Duggan with a series of wild strikes but Duggan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Buffcake changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Duggan. Buffcake does a little dance to reset his feet.
Duggan looks for a takedown but Buffcake sprawls well.
A clash of legs there as Duggan blocks the low kick.
Buffcake fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Duggan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Buffcake looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Duggan shoots in and drives through. Buffcake sprawls well.

Buffcake scores with a crisp jab that stopped Duggan in his tracks.
Duggan shoots in looking for a takedown but Buffcake manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Duggan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Buffcake tries to work over Duggan's front leg with a kick but Duggan checks it.
Buffcake lands a really nice looking cross but Duggan seems unphased.

Buffcake displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Duggan throws out the jab.

Buffcake lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Brutus Buffcake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Duggan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Buffcake swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Duggan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Buffcake but Buffcake pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Duggan tries for a takedown but Buffcake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Buffcake stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Buffcake sends Duggan crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Buffcake is motioning to the referee to let Duggan up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Duggan dodges the punch combination from Buffcake.
Oh Duggan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Buffcake throws a solid leg kick but Duggan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Buffcake.

Buffcake finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Buffcake tries to bum rush Duggan with a series of wild strikes but Duggan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Duggan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Buffcake utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Buffcake avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Duggan.
Duggan dives in for a single leg takedown but Buffcake sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Buffcake is pressed up against the cage. Duggan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Buffcake down to the mat. Buffcake avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Buffcake lands a nice hook to Duggan's body. Duggan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Duggan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Duggan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Buffcake takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Jim Duggan had his way with Brutus Buffcake in that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Duggan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Buffcake defends well and Duggan ends up having to push Buffcake into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Buffcake pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Duggan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Buffcake tried to score with a low kick but Duggan checks it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Buffcake lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Duggan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Duggan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Buffcake smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Buffcake fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Duggan on the side of the head.
Duggan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Duggan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Buffcake is trying to defend but Duggan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Duggan is looking to stall here but Buffcake recovers full guard.

Duggan postures up.
Duggan looking to sit in guard and control but Buffcake gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Duggan looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Brutus Buffcake has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jim Duggan.
Horrible takedown by Duggan or perhaps it was just good defense by Buffcake which made him look bad.
Brutus Buffcake is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I think Duggan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
