Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rubin Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dc Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes into the arena with Hurricane blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Gable.
Carter throws a looping overhand right but Gable ducks down to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Carter misses the target.
A head kick by Carter misses
and Gable counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gable misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Carter.
Carter doesn't manage to clinch there - Gable circles away.
Gable throws a body punch but Carter moves out of range.
Gable swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gable tries a low kick but Carter avoids it.

Carter throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Carter throws a lazy right hand but Gable sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Carter tries to stall but Gable uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Gable lands a right hand that snaps the head of Carter backwards.
Still in the clinch, Gable scores with a nice short uppercut.
Gable blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gable breaks from the clinch.
Carter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gable stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Carter moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Carter throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Gable counters with a leg kick.
Gable swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Gable counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Carter throws a body punch but Gable moves out of range.

and Gable makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Gable makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Carter really felt that one!

and Gable counters with a series of strikes. Carter will be more careful next time no doubt.

Gable moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Carter throws a poor cross that misses
and Gable scores with a counter punch that sends Carter to the canvas! Gable smells blood - he's punishing Carter with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Carter has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dc Gable!
