Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rich Castellano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castellano comes into the arena with Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Damian Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Castellano drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Castellano working the ground and pound but Gonzalez is defending the strikes.
Castellano tries for a kimura but Gonzalez is defending well.
Castellano is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gonzalez has escaped the position, nice work there.
Castellano works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Gonzalez told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Castellano swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
