Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between JB Brubaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Turris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brubaker's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, August Burns Red - Poor Millionaire. Kyle Turris has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JB Brubaker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Turris! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brubaker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Brubaker walks into a straight right hand from Turris. Brubaker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Turris's calf. Turris tests Brubaker's chin there with a solid looking shot. Brubaker misses with a straight left. Turris misses with a straight left. Good standup being displayed there by Brubaker as he connects with a hook. Turris fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Turris swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Brubaker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turris circles away quickly and effectively. Brubaker takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Turris tests Brubaker's chin there with a solid looking shot. Turris misses with a hook. Turris throws a hook to the side of Brubaker's head but Brubaker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Turris closes the distance and pushes Brubaker back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brubaker tries a body shot but Turris blocks it.
Turris breaks the clinch.
Turris misses with a wild body shot. Turris misses with a looping right. Turris missing with a left hand there. Brubaker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Turris throws out a loose jab but Brubaker uses good head movement to avoid it. Brubaker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Turris swats him away and circles back towards the center. Turris misses the shot to the body. Brubaker throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Brubaker needs to keep his hands up - Turris had a free shot at his head there. A shot to the body from Brubaker misses and Turris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Brubaker misses the shot to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Turris. Brubaker does a little dance to reset his feet. Brubaker has been working on his boxing with his coaches at AD Sparstars (200k ID max) in the buildup to the fight. Brubaker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Turris lands with a short shot to the head. Turris blocking some punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brubaker works on Turris's body with a couple of short punches. Turris misses with some punches.
Brubaker has Turris pushed against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brubaker trying to control the position but instead, Turris has worked for underhooks and has pushed Brubaker into the cage. Turris managing to block the knees to the body from Brubaker.
Turris throws a head punch that misses. Brubaker dodges an elbow strike from Turris.
Turris throws a punch but it's blocked by Brubaker. Turris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Turris looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Turris swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A swing and a miss from Brubaker. Brubaker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brubaker's jab looks to have found its range, popping Turris under the eye. Kyle Turris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Turris throws a leg kick which misses Brubaker's front leg but catches the back leg as Brubaker tries to avoid it. Brubaker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Turris throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Turris swats away the attempt to clinch by Brubaker. Turris moves out of range of the body kick from Brubaker.
Turris looks to throw the jab but Brubaker is out of range. Brubaker misses the shot to the body. Brubaker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Turris.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Brubaker manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Turris tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Turris on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Brubaker lands with a short shot to the head. Turris lands a damaging elbow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Turris throws a head punch that misses. Brubaker turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Brubaker tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Brubaker working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kyle Turris will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Brubaker catches Turris with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Turris throws the left hand but Brubaker avoids the punch easily. Brubaker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Turris thuds his right hand into Brubaker's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Turris throws a jab when Brubaker was well out of range. Brubaker is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Turris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brubaker moves away. Jab from Turris. Brubaker throws a right hand that misses
and Turris counters with a leg kick. Turris throws a big shot that misses. Turris misses with a hook. Brubaker ducked under it nicely. Brubaker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Turris throws a leg kick that is checked and Brubaker counters with a single leg into guard. Turris didn't expect that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Turris is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Turris thows a huge punch but Brubaker dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turris is working for a kimura but Brubaker is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Turris is looking to take a break and control but Brubaker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brubaker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Brubaker gets full guard. Turris wants to control from the top but Brubaker keeps moving. Turris is looking to pass into half guard but Brubaker pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Brubaker is in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brubaker works over Turris with some ground and pound from guard. Brubaker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Brubaker missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Turris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Brubaker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Brubaker content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Turris preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Brubaker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Turris's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Turris looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Brubaker has picked Turris up and slammed him! Turris can't keep hold of the triangle and Brubaker manages to pass to side control! He has the arm isolated but Turris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Turris is looking to regain half guard here but Brubaker keeps moving and retains side control. Brubaker lands a nice forearm strike. Brubaker is looking to take a break and control but Turris is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brubaker sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Turris is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Turris throws a solid leg kick but Brubaker takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Turris. Turris drives through and clinches with Brubaker against the cage.
