Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Klutschok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monroe Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Banks's choice of entrance music: Iceman By Lloyd Banks. Monroe Banks looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Klutschok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klutschok moves in looking to clinch but Banks pushes him off.
Banks moves in looking to clinch but Klutschok pushes him off.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Klutschok.

Klutschok drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Klutschok has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Banks is proving hard to escape from.
Banks throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Banks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Klutschok wants to control from the top but Banks keeps moving.
Banks is looking to sweep but instead, Klutschok has passed into half guard.

Klutschok takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Klutschok seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Banks does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Banks wants to improve his position but Klutschok is controlling well.
Klutschok will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Klutschok lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Klutschok thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Banks makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Banks.
Klutschok wants to pass the guard but Banks is keeping the position.
Banks wants to sweep here but Klutschok controlling him for the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Klutschok tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Banks paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Klutschok misses with a takedown attempt - Banks sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Banks wants to clinch up but Klutschok keeps it at a distance.

and Klutschok counters with a nice double leg into side control. Banks won't be happy with that.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Banks is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Klutschok's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Banks gets full guard.
Banks doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Banks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Banks thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Banks wants to sweep here but Klutschok controlling him for the moment.
Klutschok has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Klutschok closes the distance and clinches up with Banks, looking for a takedown. Klutschok pushes Banks against the cage but Banks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Klutschok. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Banks shoots in and bounces Klutschok off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Banks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Come on Banks - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Banks lands with a short shot to the head.
Banks keeps control of Klutschok as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Banks looking to stall.
Banks using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Klutschok has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Banks.
Banks swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Banks throws a punch but it's blocked by Klutschok.

Klutschok escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Klutschok has Banks pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Banks manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Klutschok is desperately trying to improve his position but Banks has a good base and remains in mount.
Banks cracks Klutschok with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Monroe Banks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Klutschok tries for a takedown but Banks circles away easily

so Banks counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Banks missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Klutschok is trying to control the position but Banks postures up.

Banks gets to his feet. Klutschok looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Banks tries to clinch but Klutschok is having none of it.

Klutschok on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Klutschok tries to get out of the position.
Banks pushes down on Klutschok's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Banks winds up and cracks Klutschok with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Klutschok keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Klutschok is trying to stand.
Klutschok flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Monroe Banks has got the better of the ground game so far.
Banks lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Banks thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Klutschok's head.
Klutschok is trying to stand up here but Banks is controlling him well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Klutschok wants to stall.
Banks lands an elbow that stopped Klutschok in his tracks for a moment.

Banks is trying to trip Klutschok. He has hold of a leg but Klutschok is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Banks persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Banks has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Banks lands a big elbow.
Klutschok is trying to escape the mount.
Banks is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Klutschok can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Banks goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Klutschok is on top in guard.

Klutschok wants to get up but he can't break Banks's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Banks isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Klutschok stacks Banks on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Klutschok!

Klutschok thows a huge punch but Banks dodges it nicely.

Monroe Banks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Banks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
