PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Lockwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Sonny Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Theo Lockwood!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duncan darts in and clinches Lockwood up against the cage.

Lockwood breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Duncan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lockwood was covering up waiting for the punch and Duncan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lockwood bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Duncan's guard.
Duncan has momentary wrist control but Lockwood slips an elbow through the middle.
Lockwood passes Duncan's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lockwood looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Duncan is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lockwood is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Oh Duncan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Duncan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lockwood wants to work for an arm triangle but Duncan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Duncan tries to get to full guard but Lockwood has control of the leg.
Lockwood works his way into full mount!

Lockwood working for a guillotine from mount but Duncan is in no mood to give up.
Duncan seems to have got his legs back now.
Duncan tries to hold on but Lockwood pushes him away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lockwood postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Duncan looks a forlorn figure.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Lockwood! Duncan is hurt baaadly! Lockwood is firing away with more strikes - Duncan is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
