Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roman Vondracek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vondracek closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jacobs counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Vondracek shoots for a takedown but Jacobs saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jacobs misses with a hook. Vondracek ducked under it nicely.
Vondracek misses with a body shot.
Jacobs misses the jab.
Vondracek takes one on the button.
Vondracek wants to clinch.
Vondracek looks to land a combination but Jacobs avoids it well.
Roman Vondracek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vondracek fails to land the takedown.
Jacobs tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vondracek was well out of range. Poor timing from Jacobs.
Jacobs throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Vondracek has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Vondracek closes the distance but Jacobs moves to the side
and Jacobs counters with a right hand to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vondracek thows a body shot but no joy.
Jacobs throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vondracek stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vondracek moves out of range of the strikes.
Jacobs takes a swing at Vondracek's ribcage but misses.
Jacobs lands a jab.
Jacobs changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Donk. Jacobs catches Vondracek right on the button with a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vondracek scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Vondracek throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jacobs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jacobs gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Vondracek uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jacobs.
Jacobs throws a lazy right hand but Vondracek sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vondracek tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jacobs swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vondracek throws a series of punches but Jacobs moves out of range.
Vondracek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jacobs tries to avoid it but Vondracek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jacobs to the ground. Jacobs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roman Vondracek. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vondracek wants to clinch but Jacobs slips to the side
and Jacobs counters with a nice body shot.
Jon Jacobs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jacobs misses with a hook. Vondracek ducked under it nicely.
Vondracek on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Vondracek is breathing heavily.
Jacobs scores with a jab to the head.
Vondracek throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jacobs scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Vondracek takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Vondracek takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jacobs fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Vondracek has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vondracek there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jacobs digs a good hook to Vondracek's body.
Jacobs cracks a nice hook into Vondracek's ribs.
Jacobs fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Jacobs feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Vondracek sprawling to the canvas! Vondracek rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jacobs finish him?!


Vondracek is rocked!

Jacobs cracks Vondracek with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vondracek looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jacobs finish him?
Oh Vondracek is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jacobs shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Vondracek takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Jacobs sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Vondracek bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jon Jacobs!
Jon Jacobs gave a mention to TFP Graphics - Pit Inc in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
