Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Robinson Kash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vince Green! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Green is looking to clinch but Kash is avoiding it.
Kash thows a body shot but no joy. Green stuffs the takedown. Kash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kash fails to land the takedown. Vince Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Green scores with a jab to the body. Green with a lazy takedown attempt and Kash counters with a series of strikes. Green will be more careful next time no doubt. Green shoots in for a double leg but Kash sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kash has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight. Robinson Kash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vince Green. Green stuffs the takedown attempt from Kash. Kash gets slowly back to his feet. Green closes the distance and clinches. Green prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kash's waist but Kash gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side. Green throws a head kick but Kash moves out of range.
Green shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kash defends it nicely. Green looks to land a body kick but Kash moved away. Kash uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Green has time to react. Green misses with a body kick. Kash scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Green doesn't seem bothered though. Green shoots for a double leg takedown but Kash sprawls well. He's pushed Green's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jab, jab by Kash - just one landing.
It looks like Vince Green has been cut. Green tries for a takedown but Kash circles away easily and Kash counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Green looks winded! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kash lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Green is rocked! Green throws a wild body kick that Kash sees coming a mile off. Green is still on wobbly legs! Can Kash finish him? Green shoots and misses and Kash counters with a right hand to the body. Green seems to have recovered his senses. Kash plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Green to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Green just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
