Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wullie Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maynard kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is thunderstruck. Maynard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rogers drops back looking for a leg! Maynard is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maynard manages to kick Rogers off! Rogers jumps back into Maynard's guard.
Rogers won't allow Maynard to sweep him here.
Maynard wants to stand and escape but Rogers is having none of it.
Rogers pushes down on Maynard's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Maynard is cranking Rogers's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Rogers! He's tightened the choke and Rogers is tapping out!
