Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tsota Alvario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvario tries to close the distance and clinch but Cooper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cooper throws a hook but Alvario avoids it easily.

Cooper feints and as Alvario raises his hands in defense, Cooper changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Alvario is pulling down on Cooper's head. It's preventing any offense from Cooper, at least for the moment.
Cooper throws and elbow that misses. Alvario uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cooper's guard. Nice move by Alvario!
Cooper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alvario can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Cooper feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
