Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ronuel Natividad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hit Man! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man throws a solid leg kick but Natividad takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Man. Man looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Man goes for a double leg but Natividad avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Natividad continues to drive forward. Natividad goes for a takedown in the clinch but Man prevents it.
Natividad breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Man shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Natividad has managed to clinch.
Natividad breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Man tries to land a front kick but Natividad steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Man tries to clinch but fails miserably and Natividad counters with a head kick. That will keep Man thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Natividad has taken the fight to the clinch.
Natividad pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Natividad instigates a clinch. Natividad is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Man can't fight it off and eventually Natividad manages to take the fight to the floor. Man looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Man is working an open guard so Natividad takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Natividad closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. We've been informed that Man has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Natividad breaks the clinch.
Man throws a leg kick that is checked and Natividad cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The fight moves into the clinch position. Natividad breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Man goes for a double leg but Natividad avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Natividad continues to drive forward. Ronuel Natividad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hit Man. Natividad breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Natividad closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Natividad decides to take the fight back to the feet. Man dodges the punch combination from Natividad.
Natividad clinches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Natividad's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Natividad scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Natividad closes the distance and pushes Man back into the cage. Man tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Natividad smiles and moves away.

Man misses with a takedown attempt - Natividad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Natividad moves into the clinch. Natividad breaks the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Man is fighting off a takedown attempt but Natividad is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Man to the mat. Man regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Natividad stands up and waves to Man to follow him. Natividad closes the distance and clinches. Natividad breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Natividad stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Natividad wants it to stay on the feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Natividad moves into the clinch successfully.
Natividad has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Man clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Natividad is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Man is tapping out! This one is all over!
