Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahdi Makungu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makungu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nelly - Heart of a Champion kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mahdi Makungu is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makungu jabs at Aldo's body.
Makungu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Makungu throws a body punch but Aldo moves out of range.
Jab, jab by Makungu - just one landing.
Makungu keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Makungu digs a good body shot into Aldo's ribs.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Aldo.
Makungu missing with a left hand there. Aldo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Aldo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Makungu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Makungu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Aldo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Makungu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Aldo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Aldo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Makungu defends well.
Makungu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Aldo has momentary wrist control but Makungu slips an elbow through the middle.
Makungu content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oh Aldo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Makungu is working Aldo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Makungu is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Aldo seems to have got his legs back now.
Makungu lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Aldo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Makungu scores with a couple of nice shots.
Makungu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Aldo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Makungu is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Aldo!

Makungu is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Aldo goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Makungu!
