The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bentley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bentley wants it to stay on the feet.
Bentley missing with a left hand there. Martinez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bentley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martinez, pushing him back against the cage.
Martinez tries to pull guard but Bentley forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Bentley is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Martinez is defending well for now.
Bentley lands an elbow inside that Martinez shrugs off.
It looks like Ernest Martinez has been cut.
Bentley throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Martinezs head.
Bentley prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ernest Martinez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bentley creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Martinez! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Bentley.
