Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Derick House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Derick House! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kevin Johnson! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Johnson misses and House counters with a one-two to the body. House changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but House manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. House gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Johnson to score an easy takedown into full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. House striking off his back but it's not causing Johnson any problems. Johnson controlling from the top position. House wants to sweep but no luck. Johnson postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kevin Johnson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Johnson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Johnson stands and throws House's legs to the side, diving into side control. House wants to control but Johnson postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Johnson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. House knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. House can't do much from the bottom here. Johnson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Johnson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. House is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Johnson yanks on the arm and House is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Johnson.
