0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Bloomfield ! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bloomfield fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bloomfield drives through with a takedown into Collier's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Collier looking to control.
Collier is looking for a triangle but Bloomfield pushes his legs off easily.
Collier tries to land a sweep but no joy. Collier looking to control.
Bloomfield trying to control the position from guard on top but Collier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Collier pushes Bloomfield off and gets back to his feet.

Bloomfield postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Collier is working an open guard so Bloomfield takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Bloomfield goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bloomfield trying to control the position from guard on top but Collier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Collier is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bloomfield gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bloomfield decides to pull guard. Collier postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bloomfield is trying to control Collier's posture but Collier avoids it. Collier tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Collier has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bloomfield is looking to regain half guard here but Collier keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bloomfield rushes Collier and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Collier tries to pull guard but Bloomfield holds him up against the cage and eventually Collier drops back down to his feet.
Bloomfield is defending well against a takedown attempt. Collier has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bloomfield after a bit of a struggle. Jamie Bloomfield has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Bloomfield closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Collier quickly recovers to half guard. Bloomfield is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bloomfield seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Collier gets full guard. Bloomfield postures up.
Collier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bloomfield got a little sloppy there for a moment and Collier has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bloomfield has managed to get both his arms back between Collier's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Collier has control of Bloomfield 's left arm, preventing Bloomfield from doing any damage. Bloomfield is looking to pass into half guard but Collier pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Collier is in guard. Bloomfield trying to control the position here. Collier wants to control from the top but Bloomfield keeps moving. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bloomfield controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jamie Bloomfield was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bloomfield shoots in and gets a takedown into Collier's guard. Collier is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bloomfield throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Collier works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bloomfield wants to control from the top but Collier keeps moving. Collier looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Collier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bloomfield has gone for a leg lock! Collier slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bloomfield 's guard. Collier trying to control but Bloomfield is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Collier is working Bloomfield over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Collier's corner is telling him to maintain position. Collier trying to control the position from guard on top but Bloomfield is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Collier is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bloomfield is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Collier is looking to reverse the position. Bloomfield has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bloomfield dives in and scores a takedown into Collier's guard. Bloomfield trying to control but Collier is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bloomfield is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Bloomfield wants to control from the top but Collier keeps moving. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

He has the arm isolated but Collier is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Bloomfield takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Collier tries to improve position but can't. Stanley Collier has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jamie Bloomfield is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
