The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
State Jr. shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lakanik as he avoids it easily.

State Jr. fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lakanik sprawls well initially but State Jr. persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
State Jr. thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
State Jr. is keen to just control but Lakanik is a slippery customer.

Lakanik is refusing to be controlled, as State Jr. sits in half guard.
Lakanik is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
