The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gabagoo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Carpentier blocks a jab.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Carpentier.
Gabagoo stuffs the takedown.
The fighters circling - Gabagoo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Carpentier tries for a takedown but Gabagoo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rocky Gabagoo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Carpentier.

Carpentier is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gabagoo is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Carpentier.

Gabagoo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Rocky Gabagoo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carpentier bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Carpentier moves forwards but Gabagoo connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Oooooh!!! Gabagoo has knocked Carpentier down with a huge combo! Gabagoo steps away and waves a wobbly Carpentier back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The cut above Hector Carpentier's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gabagoo steps in with a hook that catches Carpentier right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Gabagoo follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Carpentier looks absolutely devastated.
