Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brownie Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Thordarsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is tim finnegans. Thor Thordarsen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thor Thordarsen! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thordarsen tries to clinch up and Anderson counters by clinching up. A head punch blocked on the inside by Anderson. Anderson managing to block the knees to the body from Thordarsen.
Thordarsen told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Thordarsen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anderson walks away with a smile on his face. Thordarsen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Thordarsen fails to land with a series of punches.
Thordarsen closes the distance but Anderson moves to the side and Anderson counters with a low kick, right behind Thordarsen 's knee. Thordarsen dives in for a single leg takedown but Anderson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Anderson is pushing Thordarsen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. A frustrated look appears on Anderson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Thordarsen wants to break the clinch but can't.

Anderson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Anderson keeps the fight on the outside. Anderson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Anderson moves into the clinch. Thordarsen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Anderson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Brownie Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thor Thordarsen. Anderson moves into range and clinches up with Thordarsen. Thordarsen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Anderson just stands there and leans against the cage. Thordarsen fails to pull guard.
Anderson manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson misses with a few strikes there.
Thordarsen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thordarsen fails in his attempt to clinch. Sloppy strikes from Thordarsen. Those never looked like landing. Anderson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thordarsen circles away. Thordarsen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Anderson cracks a nice hook into Thordarsen's ribs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fight stays on the outside here - Thordarsen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Thordarsen throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily. Anderson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Anderson closes the distance and pushes Thordarsen back into the cage. Thordarsen prevents Anderson from breaking the clinch. Anderson is working Thordarsen over against the cage. Thordarsen is trying to pull guard but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thordarsen avoids a wild elbow strike from Anderson. Anderson has had enough of the clinch but Thordarsen keeps him there for the moment. Thordarsen lands a nice uppercut. Anderson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Thordarsen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Thordarsen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Anderson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Anderson misses with a wild combination.
Anderson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thordarsen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Thordarsen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Thordarsen. Anderson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Thordarsen. No joy there for Anderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Anderson clinches up with Thordarsen and pushes him back against the cage. Anderson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Thordarsen.
Anderson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thordarsen fails in his attempt to clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Thordarsen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Anderson lands a high kick!
Anderson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Anderson duly obliges. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brownie Anderson dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Thordarsen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Anderson counters with a one-two to the body. Brownie Anderson is winning the standup battle so far. Thordarsen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Anderson, pushing him back against the cage. Thordarsen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Anderson has him pressed against the cage. Thordarsen content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Anderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Anderson rushes Thordarsen with punches - Thordarsen moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Thordarsen goes down! Anderson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
