Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brock Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez's entrance music is Not Afraid-Eminem. A fine choice. Sullivan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Live to Win. Brock Ramirez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Michael Sullivan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Ramirez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Sullivan! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramirez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A jab from Sullivan misses. A slow jab from Sullivan misses its intended target. Sullivan throws a right hand that misses
and Ramirez counters with a leg kick. Ramirez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ramirez drops his hands momentarily and Sullivan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Sullivan's coach down at Jef Li's MMA(13 coaches, 49 cap) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sullivan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Ramirez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sullivan was covering up waiting for the punch and Ramirez finishes the takedown easily into guard. Ramirez tries to free his leg and advance position but Sullivan is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sullivan seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Sullivan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ramirez is looking to improve his position but Sullivan isn't that keen on the idea. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramirez is working hard here to advance position. Sullivan throwing strikes here but Ramirez is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Ramirez blocking the ground and pound. Sullivan lands a big shot there that rocks Ramirez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Sullivan lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Ramirez is rocked! Sullivan loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ramirez scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Sullivan land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Sullivan stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Sullivan! Michael Sullivan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
