The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freole tries to keep at a distance but Alcoholic has taken the fight into the clinch.
Alcoholic lands a knee to the head.
Alcoholic comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Alcoholic lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Freole takes an elbow to the forehead.

Freole is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Alcoholic is defending well for now.

Alcoholic drops Freole with a big knee straight up the middle! Freole is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Alex Alcoholic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alcoholic throws a leg kick which misses Freole's front leg but catches the back leg as Freole tries to avoid it.

Look low, kick high! Alcoholic uses the oldest trick in the book to send Freole tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Alcoholic is absolutely delighted - when Freole wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
