Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tarmi Ricmi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Wesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricmi comes into the arena with DOOOOBERMAN !!! blaring out of the sound system. Wesson has chosen Imperial March as his entrance music. Dean Wesson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tarmi Ricmi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dean Wesson! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ricmi misses with the combination.
Wesson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sloppy strikes from Ricmi. Those never looked like landing. Ricmi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wesson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ricmi pinned against the cage. Ricmi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ricmi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wesson. Ricmi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ricmi misses with the combination.
Wesson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wesson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ricmi defends it nicely. Ricmi looks to score with a jab to the body but Wesson is just out of range. Ricmi misses the shot to the body. Nice takedown defense from Ricmi. No joy for Wesson on that attempt. Tarmi Ricmi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Wesson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ricmi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wesson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ricmi! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ricmi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Wesson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Wesson is looking to take a break and control but Ricmi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wesson prevents Ricmi from escaping the position. Wesson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ricmi wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ricmi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wesson on the ground. Wesson is working to tighten his grip on Ricmi's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ricmi has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wesson is really squeezing tight and eventually Ricmi passes out! Wesson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Dean Wesson! After the big win, Dean Wesson made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Atlantis and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
