Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OMeara shoots in and gets a takedown into Famianto's guard.
OMeara loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
OMeara wants to pass the guard but Famianto is keeping the position.
OMeara advances position into side control!
Famianto is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
OMeara scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Famianto to see if he's OK.
Famianto wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
OMeara is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Famianto has escaped the position, nice work there.
Famianto tries to improve position but can't.
Famianto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for OMeara on the ground.

You can see the frustration on Famianto's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
OMeara tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no OMeara has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
OMeara has hold of Famianto's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Famianto seems comfortable defending it but OMeara has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Famianto is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Famianto is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but OMeara couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Royston OMeara tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
