The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez lands a left and a right that send Hughes crashing to the mat, dazed. Dominguez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hughes is rocked!

Hughes leaves his chin hanging out and Dominguez seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hughes crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

In his post fight interview, Chico Dominguez started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
