Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meldir throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Alessio.
Meldir closes the distance and clinches.
Meldir breaks from the clinch.
Meldir tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alessio paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Alessio has picked Meldir up - he's going for a ride! Alessio dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Alessio has momentary wrist control but Meldir slips an elbow through the middle.

Meldir has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Alessio is trying to keep an underhook but Meldir manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Doadi Rafi Meldir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Alessio wants to sweep here but Meldir controlling him for the moment.
Alessio has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Meldir is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Alessio.

Alessio is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Meldir defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Well Meldir has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
