Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samir Misk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeremy Pettis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Samir Misk! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pettis dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Pettis with a jab. Pettis looks to throw the jab but Misk is out of range. Nice shot by Pettis. Pettis scores with a jab to the jaw. Pettis stuffs the takedown attempt from Misk. Misk gets slowly back to his feet. Pettis lunges at Misk with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Misk's hand. Pettis scores with a decent looking hook. Pettis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Misk takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Jeremy Pettis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Misk or perhaps it was just good defense by Pettis which made him look bad. Pettis with a hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pettis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Misk. Misk circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Misk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pettis counters with a straight right hand. Jeremy Pettis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samir Misk. Misk slips a jab from Pettis. Pettis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Pettis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Pettis dips to his left and cracks Misk with an uppercut! Pettis is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Pettis ducks down and throws a hook to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Misk. Nice jab there from Pettis. Misk drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Pettis missing with a left hand there. Misk was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Pettis with a jab. Pettis lands with an uppercut that bounces Misk off the ropes and back into range. Pettis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pettis waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Misk. Misk's coach down at Titan Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Misk's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Pettis misses with a looping left. Pettis waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Misk. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice takedown defense from Pettis. No joy for Misk on that attempt. Pettis lands the left hand. Misk fails with the takedown and Pettis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pettis's jab looks to have found its range, popping Misk under the eye. Misk looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Pettis connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Pettis keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Pettis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pettis misses with a straight left. Pettis connects with a looping right hand.
Misk on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Misk has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Misk closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pettis circles away. Misk tries for a takedown but Pettis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Misk is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pettis is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Misk. Pettis darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Pettis lands with a straight right. Misk didn't see that one coming. Pettis lands a head shot. A punch lands to the side of Misk 's head but he takes it in his stride. Misk closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Misk is rocked! Misk shoots in looking for a takedown. Pettis tries to sprawl out of it but Misk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Pettis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A slow jab from Pettis misses its intended target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pettis cracks Misk with a right hand to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Misk uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pettis. Pettis scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Pettis scores with the left hand. Misk knows he should have avoided that one. Nice shot lands for Pettis. No luck for Misk with that takedown attempt. Pettis lands a head shot. Pettis is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pettis avoids the body shot from Misk.
Pettis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeremy Pettis dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nice shot lands for Pettis. Pettis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Pettis throws out a loose jab but Misk uses good head movement to avoid it. A swing and a miss from Pettis. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Misk. Misk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pettis is fending him off so far but Misk persists. Nope, Pettis circles away and we're back to standing. Misk dives in for a single leg takedown but Pettis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Jeremy Pettis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samir Misk. Misk has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pettis after a bit of a struggle. Pettis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Misk takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Pettis scores with the left hand. Misk knows he should have avoided that one. Pettis throws a good cross that connects.
That's one minute gone in the round. Misk uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pettis. Pettis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Misk momentarily.
Pettis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Pettis throws an overhand right that lands on Misk's shoulder, as Misk tries to avoid the shot. Pettis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Misk can do to turn this around? Misk shoots in looking for a takedown. Pettis tries to sprawl out of it but Misk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Pettis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Misk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pettis moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pettis throws a hook to the side of Misk's head but Misk sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Good shot there by Pettis. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Misk walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jeremy Pettis is winning the standup battle so far.

and Misk moves into the clinch. Pettis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This has been an exciting period of action! Pettis keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Pettis keeps the fight on the outside. Pettis getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Pettis lands a jab to the nose. Misk is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Misk is still on wobbly legs! Can Pettis finish him? Pettis throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Misk uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pettis. Misk seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Misk's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pettis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Misk scrambles back to his feet. A swing and a miss from Pettis. Pettis digs a good body shot into Misk's ribs. Pettis digs a good hook to Misk's body.
Pettis lands a nice looking body shot.
Pettis listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Pettis uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Misk shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pettis as he avoids it easily. Pettis with a jab. Pettis misses with a looping right. Pettis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Misk's hands. Pettis lands an overhand right.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Misk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pettis sprawls well. Pettis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Misk gets slowly back to his feet. Misk's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pettis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Misk scrambles back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Misk staying out of range there. Misk with a poor takedown and Misk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Misk takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Pettis lands with a shot to the body. Pettis digs a good hook to Misk's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Misk has managed to clinch.

Misk tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pettis smiles and moves away.
Misk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Pettis paws at him with a jab and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeremy Pettis dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Misk takes a jab right on the kisser.
Misk is looking to clinch. Pettis cracks Misk with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Pettis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Misk shoots for a takedown but Pettis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Pettis scores with the left hand. Misk knows he should have avoided that one. Misk drops his hands momentarily and Pettis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Nice jab there from Pettis. Misk closes the distance looking to clinch and Pettis counters with a nice body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pettis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Misk takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Misk drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Misk fails with the takedown and Pettis counters with a stiff right hand. Jeremy Pettis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samir Misk. Jab from Pettis. Misk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pettis's waist but Pettis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Misk off to one side. The fighters circle momentarily. Pettis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Misk shoots for a double leg takedown but Pettis sprawls well. He's pushed Misk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Pettis scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jeremy Pettis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Misk has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pettis finds it's way round the side to connect with Misk's head. Misk misses with a takedown attempt and Pettis counters with a lovely straight right hand! Misk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pettis closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Misk! Pettis dives in looking to finish! Misk is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeremy Pettis! A relieved looking Jeremy Pettis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
