Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dzhonijs Lode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Odriscoll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dzhonijs Lode is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odriscoll shoots in looking for a takedown. Lode tries to sprawl out of it but Odriscoll keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lode manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lode fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lode stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lode wants it to stay on the feet.

Lode instigates a clinch.
Odriscoll is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lode to keep the fight standing.
Dzhonijs Lode has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Odriscoll.

Lode has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Odriscoll is trying to keep an underhook but Lode manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lode tries to stand and escape but Odriscoll is controlling the position.
Lode thows a huge punch but Odriscoll dodges it nicely.
Lode keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Lode is trying to control. Odriscoll wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dzhonijs Lode wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Odriscoll takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Lode shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Odriscoll gets back to full guard.
Lode tries to free his leg and advance position but Odriscoll is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Odriscoll looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Lode is defending well. Odriscoll quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Lode has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Odriscoll celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
