Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rock Lee was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tim Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Lee! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance. Lee is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
A head kick by Lee misses and Johnson counters with a straight right hand. Lee shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Rock Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson throws a shot from downtown. Lee moves away and avoids it. Lee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Johnson is nestled in close to Lee, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Johnson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee tries to kick Johnson off in order to stand up. Johnson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Lee misses with an elbow from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson is putting a hurting on Lee here, landing some big shots from side control. Johnson working the head with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Johnson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Johnson lands a nice short elbow. Johnson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Lee blocking the ground and pound attempt from Johnson. Johnson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though. Lee looking for submissions off his back. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Johnson connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson working Lee over with strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lee looking for submissions off his back. Johnson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Lee has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Vegas striking and sparring. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Lee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Johnson pulls his head out easily. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Johnson connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple. Lee manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Johnson throwing strikes but missing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Johnson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Johnson scoring with punches to the head and body. Lee wants to sweep but no luck. Lee wants to stand but Johnson is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Lee is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Johnson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Johnson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Johnson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat. Lee with a poor takedown and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Johnson with the ground and pound but Lee uses the opportunity to regain guard. Johnson throws an elbow that misses. Lee uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Johnson's guard. Nice move by Lee! Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.
Lee has momentary wrist control but Johnson slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.
Lee wanted to stand there but Johnson had control of the position. Lee postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lee stands and throws Johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Johnson is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee decides to stand back up. Lee steps back and let's Johnson get back to his feet. Lee throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.
Lee walks into a stiff left hand from Johnson. Rock Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice takedown defense from Johnson. No joy for Lee on that attempt. Tim Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rock Lee. Lee tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lee. No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Johnson wants to improve his position but Lee is controlling well.
Lee is pressing down on Johnson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Johnson is holding on for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lee uses his free foot to push down on Johnson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Johnson. Lee wants to finish this one by submission but Johnson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lee. Johnson stops Lee from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Lee looking to ground and pound but Johnson is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee working away from the top, dropping strikes.
It looks like Tim Johnson has been cut. Johnson tries to hold on but Lee pushes him away. Lee looking to control but Johnson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lee is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Johnson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson tries to get back to half guard but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Johnson is on top in guard.
Lee had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rock Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tim Johnson's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Johnson is looking to slow Lee down with leg kicks. Lee closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Johnson did well to prevent Lee getting side control. Johnson wants to improve his position but Lee is controlling well.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johnson defends it well. Lee is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lee. Johnson gets back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Johnson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tim Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lee takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Johnson cracks Lee with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson landing shots from mount. Johnson softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Lee is out cold! Johnson jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
