The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alonso throws a nice looking combination but Basher bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Alonso takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Basher changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Basher scores with a decent looking hook.
Alonso uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Basher.

Basher gets a takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Basher maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Alonso could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Basher has cracked it and Alonso is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Basher!

After the fight, Cranium Basher was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
