Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Hendricks! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendricks throws a combination that misses and Moore counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Moore. Hendricks is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A short body shot lands from Hendricks as the two fighters clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Hendricks gets control of Moore's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hendricks will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hendricks managing to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jimmy Hendricks. Moore gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hendricks to score an easy takedown into full guard. Moore is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hendricks is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Moore. You can see the frustration on Moore's face as Hendricks controls the position. Hendricks tries to stand but Moore is controlling his head. Hendricks controls the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Hendricks dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hendricks clinches. Hendricks wants the takedown. Moore is fighting it off but Hendricks persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Moore's guard against the cage. Moore is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Moore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hendricks wants to get up but he can't break Moore's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hendricks stops Moore from standing up. Hendricks is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hendricks stands up and waves to Moore to follow him. Hendricks gets a takedown into half guard.

Moore taking some punishment here, with Hendricks in his half guard. Hendricks moves into full mount! Moore won't be happy about that! Moore is trying to stand but he's just given Hendricks his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hendricks scores with punches to the body. A bit of a pause in the action here. Hendricks controlling the positon. Moore is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore is covering up but some of the strikes from Hendricks are getting through and doing damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moore covers up after that shot from Hendricks.

Jimmy Hendricks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Moore feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hendrickss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Hendricks tries a head kick but it misses.
Moore scores with a jab to the jaw. Hendricks throws a head kick that misses and Moore holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hendricks lands a body punch. Moore tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hendricks just stands there and leans against the cage. Hendricks decides to pull guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hendricks tries to land a sweep but no joy. Moore wants to stand but Hendricks has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jerry Moore just wasn't active enough. Moore tries to clinch but Hendricks is having none of it. Jimmy Hendricks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hendricks feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hendricks slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Hendricks wants to get up but he can't break Moore's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hendricks is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jimmy Hendricks hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. A combination from Hendricks does no damage. Moore lands a really nice looking cross but Hendricks seems unphased.
Jimmy Hendricks is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Moore shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hendricks as he avoids it easily. Moore tries to clinch but Hendricks moves out of range. Hendricks throws a half hearted mid kick. Hendricks shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Moore is trying to defend but Hendricks finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hendricks wants to stand but Moore has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy Hendricks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hendricks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
