Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pawel Kowalewski!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kowalewski closes the distance and pushes Hodge back into the cage.
Kowalewski jumps guard but Hodge stands there with Kowalewski around his waist. Kowalewski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kowalewski blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hodge avoiding damage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Hodge could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kowalewski is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hodge gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Kowalewski can't break the clinch.
Kowalewski is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hodge is defending well.

Kowalewski shoots for a double leg takedown but Hodge sprawls well. He's pushed Kowalewski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kowalewski shoots in looking for a takedown. Hodge tries to sprawl out of it but Kowalewski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hodge manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hodge is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kowalewski defends it well.

Well Kowalewski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
