Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Granville Poole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flex Sandman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Granville Poole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Flex Sandman! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poole pushes Sandman up against the cage in a clinch. Sandman tries to break the clinch but Poole is controlling the position. Sandman swings wildly with an uppercut but Poole uses good head movement to avoid it. Poole looking to stall.

Sandman with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Poole breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Poole takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Poole feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Poole stands and steps away. Sandman gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandman throws a right and a left that Poole avoids nicely. Sandman misses with a two punch combination.
Sloppy strikes from Sandman. Those never looked like landing. Sandman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Poole, pushing him back against the cage. Sandman lands with a left to the head. Poole stalls. Sandman has had enough of the clinch but Poole keeps him there for the moment. Poole throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Sandman has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Sandman wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poole escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sandman misses with a wild combination.
Poole tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A punch combination from Sandman misses. Poole doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sandman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Poole gets a double leg takedown into Sandman's guard. Sandman wants to stand but Poole is controlling the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Poole gets to his feet. Sandman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Sandman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poole closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Poole stops Sandman from getting back to his feet.
Poole is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sandman is trying to stand.
Sandman looks winded! Poole trying to control from half guard but Sandman is working away. Poole thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sandman's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Poole is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sandman tries to kick Poole off in order to stand up. Poole Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Poole prevents Sandman from escaping the position. Poole working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Poole wants to control but Sandman is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Granville Poole dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A punch combination from Sandman misses. Poole changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sandman tries to avoid it but Poole manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sandman to the ground. Sandman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Flex Sandman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poole has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Granville Poole has been cut. Sandman closes the distance and clinches. Sandman pushes Poole back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Sandman is looking to break free of the clinch but Poole has double underhooks. Poole breaks the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sandman lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Poole backwards. Poole's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice sprawl there from Sandman as Poole shoots in. No luck for Poole with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Granville Poole. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight moves into the clinch position. Poole takes a shot to the head. Poole slows down the pace here.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sandman - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The crowd cheers as Sandman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Poole doesn't seem phased though. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Poole.
Sandman clinches up with Poole and pushes him back against the cage. Poole is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Sandman working hard to break the clinch. Sandman has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poole prevents Sandman from breaking the clinch. Sandman is trying to break the clinch but Poole is controlling him. Poole stalling in the clinch but Sandman improves position. Sandman is trying to push Poole away but Poole has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Still in the clinch, Sandman scores with a nice short uppercut. Sandman is trying to break the clinch but Poole is controlling him. Sandman on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sandman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pooles head. Poole leaning against his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Poole blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Sandman working hard to break the clinch. Poole keeps control of Sandman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Poole pressing his opponent against the cage. Poole trying to control the position but instead, Sandman has worked for underhooks and has pushed Poole into the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Poole breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Flex Sandman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Granville Poole's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Sandman tries to bum rush Poole with a series of wild strikes but Poole uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sandman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sandman swings for the body but Poole moves out of range.

and Poole counters with a shoot takedown. Sandman fights it but they end up in guard. Sandman wants to stand and escape but Poole is having none of it. Sandman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Poole prevents Sandman from getting back to his feet. Poole scoring with some ground and pound. Poole throwing strikes but missing. Sandman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sandman is looking to stand up but Poole isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandman is looking to stand back up but Poole counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sandman. Poole wants to work for an arm triangle but Sandman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Poole winds up and cracks Sandman with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Poole drops an elbow to the side of Sandman's head. Poole has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Poole is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poole is working for a kimura but Sandman is defending it quite comfortably.
Sandman pushes Poole off looking to stand but Poole dives back in and keeps control.
Poole stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Sandman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poole shoots in for a takedown but Sandman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sandman scores with a one two! Poole had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sandman throws a right and a left that Poole avoids nicely. Poole will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Granville Poole. That's going to take a lot out of him. Poole lunges at Sandman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sandman's hand. Flex Sandman seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sandman gets caught napping as Poole dives in and scores a takedown. Sandman manages to retain guard. Poole trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Poole trying to control but Sandman is working from the bottom. Sandman is looking to stand back up but Poole counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sandman.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Poole connects with a nice short shot to Sandman's temple. Sandman is trying to stand up here but Poole is controlling him well. Poole slips a nice elbow through Sandman's hands, connecting with Sandman's forehead. Sandman is trying to stand back up but Poole is controlling him
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Poole perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Poole looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sandman kicks off Poole and gets to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Granville Poole showed his dominance in that final round. I think Poole has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
