Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Frederick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Gee Yio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee Gee Yio has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Lewis Frederick's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lewis Frederick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee Gee Yio! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frederick closes the distance and pushes Gee Yio back into the cage. Frederick is trying to pull guard but Gee Yio has him pressed against the cage. Frederick jumps guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Frederick seems keen to control Gee Yio's posture.
We're going to have a standup here because Lewis Frederick wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Gee Yio shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gee Yio was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gee Yio wants to stand but Frederick has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. Frederick really is a fat lump. Gee Yio scoring with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Frederick is on top in guard.
Frederick is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Gee Yio working a defensive guard here.
Gee Yio can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Frederick controls the pace. Gee Yio looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Frederick puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frederick content to control rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Frederick is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gee Yio doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Frederick. Frederick keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gee Yio is trying to stand up here but Frederick is controlling him well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gee Yio misses with a combination
and Frederick counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Frederick has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gee Yio is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Frederick is trying to pull guard but Gee Yio turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lewis Frederick. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gee Yio lands a takedown into guard.
Frederick is adopting a defensive guard. Frederick has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frederick looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gee Yio is one step ahead there. Gee Yio trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gee Yio shoots in and bounces Frederick off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Frederick keeping moving, preventing Gee Yio from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Frederick tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lewis Frederick will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gee Yio is looking to clinch but Frederick is avoiding it.
Gee Yio manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Frederick on his heels. He'll look to pass Frederick's guard now, I'm sure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gee Yio looking to sit in guard and control but Frederick gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gee Yio will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Gee Yio can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Frederick controls the pace. Frederick stops Gee Yio from standing up. Frederick seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Frederick's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Frederick has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gee Yio after a bit of a struggle. Gee Yio pulls Frederick into guard.
Frederick got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gee Yio has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Frederick has managed to get both his arms back between Gee Yio's legs - danger averted. Frederick slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gee Yio working a defensive guard but Frederick manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frederick working the ground and pound but Gee Yio is defending the strikes. A lull in the action here as Frederick stalls from top position. Gee Yio misses with an elbow from the bottom. Gee Yio is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Frederick off and has taken his back! Gee Yio trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gee Yio controlling the position well here. Frederick rolled but Gee Yio kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Gee Yio is breathing heavily. Frederick manages to reverse the position and now he's in Gee Yio's guard. Nice work there by Frederick.
Frederick stands up from guard. Let's bang! Gee Yio lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Gee Yio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Frederick looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gee Yio closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frederick moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Frederick is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gee Yio trying to stand up but can't free himself from Frederick's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frederick controlling the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Frederick is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Lewis Frederick will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Gee Yio drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Frederick is looking for a sweep. Frederick gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Frederick keeps control of the position for the meantime. Frederick is looking to control Gee Yio's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Frederick avoid being mounted?

Lewis Frederick overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Frederick is concentrating on defense, preventing Gee Yio from advancing position. Frederick wants to control but Gee Yio is keeping busy and won't allow it. Frederick controlling the position for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Lewis Frederick just wasn't active enough. Gee Yio tries to close the distance and clinch but Frederick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gee Yio shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Frederick manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Frederick holds on and takes a little breather. Gee Yio trying to control the position from guard on top but Frederick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frederick looking for a sweep. Not yet Frederick, not yet. Gee Yio must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. OK we're going to have a standup here. Lee Gee Yio hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gee Yio lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Frederick has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Frederick and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Gee Yio shoots in and gets a takedown into Frederick's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gee Yio trying to control the position from guard on top but Frederick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Frederick is adopting a defensive guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lee Gee Yio hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Gee Yio shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gee Yio showed some decent athleticism there. Frederick is holding on to half guard well. Frederick is pressing down on Gee Yio's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Lee Gee Yio. I think Frederick has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
