Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miles Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Hammerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Hammerson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Miles Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Hammerson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammerson gets the takedown into side control. Perry is trying to escape the position but Hammerson is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammerson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Perry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hammerson stands up and beckons Perry to his feet. Perry closes the distance and pushes Hammerson back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerson is trying to trip Perry. He has hold of a leg but Perry is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hammerson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hammerson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Perry working for submissions but it's allowed Hammerson to get to half guard.
Hammerson winds up and cracks Perry with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Hammerson controlling the pace. Hammerson trying to control from half guard but Perry is working away. Hammerson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Perry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Perry trying to hold on to Hammerson's head to control him but Hammerson postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Perry with a lazy takedown attempt and Hammerson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hammerson. Hammerson trying to stall but Perry improves his position.
Perry taking a breather. Hammerson pulls guard. Perry has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hammerson trying to control the position.
Hammerson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hammerson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammerson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Perry passes into side control.
Perry misses with the ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hammerson stuck in half guard on the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Hammerson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hammerson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Perry wants to get back to full guard. Hammerson stands up out of the half guard. Hammerson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Perry! Hammerson blocks the strikes from Perry.
Hammerson is looking to take a break and control but Perry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hammerson stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hammerson decides to take the fight back to the feet. Perry gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hammerson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Perry looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Perry's head. Hammerson distracts Perry with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hammerson content to stall in guard here. Perry is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hammerson is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerson wants to control from the top but Perry keeps moving. Hammerson gets to his feet - Perry follows without any prompting. Hammerson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Perry to the ground. Hammerson is now in Perry's guard. David Hammerson has got the better of the ground game so far. Hammerson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Let's hope that Hammerson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hammerson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Perry looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hammerson pushes down on Perry's leg and manages to get into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Perry has hold of Hammerson's hands but Hammerson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Hammerson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Perry is rocked! Hammerson scoring with punches from side control. Oh Perry is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Perry is not content to let Hammerson control the position. The referee asks Hammerson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hammerson prefers to stall for the moment though. Hammerson has hold of Perry's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Perry seems comfortable defending it but Hammerson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Perry is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Perry is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hammerson couldn't care less - he's delighted!
