Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bert Kreischer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeff Jordan! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan misses with a takedown attempt and Kreischer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kreischer is defending well against a takedown attempt. Kreischer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jordan clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kreischer has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kreischer looking for the choke but no joy. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jordan looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Jordan staying busy and making it hard for Kreischer to control. Kreischer is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Jordan is defending well though. Kreischer let's go of the attempt for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kreischer trying to control. Jordan trying to control but not successfully. Jordan wants to escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kreischer patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Jordan showing good submission defense here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kreischer is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jordan has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kreischer has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jordan taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kreischer doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bert Kreischer! A relieved looking Bert Kreischer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
