The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva goes for a double leg but Bajic avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bajic continues to drive forward.
Silva pulls Bajic into guard.
Silva keeping full guard, as Bajic tries to pass.
Silva has his foot on Bajic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bajic works his way back into a safe position though.
Bajic wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bajic wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
Bajic missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bajic forces his way into half guard.
Silva is controlling Bajic's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Bajic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bajic thows an elbow strike that misses. Silva gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Bajic doesn't seem too bothered but Silva quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Bajic is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Bajic really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.

Junior Silva really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that MMA ANIMAL logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
