Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Ziemowit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramos has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Carlos Ramos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Ramos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Tomasz Ziemowit! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ziemowit was well out of range. Poor timing from Ramos. Ziemowit shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ramos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ramos wants to get back to his feet but Ziemowit is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ziemowit gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Tomasz Ziemowit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ziemowit throws a head kick that misses. Ziemowit takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Ramos keeps the fight on the outside. Ziemowit is looking to clinch. Ziemowit shoots in for a takedown but Ramos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ramos lands with a nice combination. Ziemowit backs away looking to recover. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ramos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ziemowit.

Ramos wants to stand and escape but Ziemowit is having none of it. Ramos is breathing heavily. Ramos working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ziemowit. Carlos Ramos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomasz Ziemowit. Ziemowit is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Ziemowit pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A lazy left from Ramos finds it's target. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ziemowit will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ziemowit shoots in for a takedown but Ramos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ramos lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ziemowit shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ramos catches Ziemowit with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Ziemowit throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ramos's waist but Ramos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ziemowit off to one side. Ramos connects with a jab. Ramos thuds his right hand into Ziemowit's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ramos misses with a wild combination.
Ramos clobbers Ziemowit with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ramos stalks Ziemowit and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ziemowit's face. Ziemowit staggers backwards, shaken. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ziemowit shoots in but no luck this time. Ziemowit shoots in looking for a takedown but Ramos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ziemowit's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Ramos dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ramos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ziemowit's head backwards. Ziemowit throws a lazy uppercut
and Ramos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ramos wanted to stand there but Ziemowit had control of the position. Ramos has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ziemowit is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ramos defends well. Ramos trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ziemowit's guard. Ziemowit looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ramos is one step ahead there. Ziemowit looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ziemowit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ramos wants to get up but he can't break Ziemowit's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Ziemowit had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ramos defends it easily. Ramos gets to his feet. Ziemowit looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Ziemowit goes for a double leg but Ramos avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ramos continues to drive forward. Ramos scores with a hook to the body.
