Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Mcgregor coming out on top.
Paul takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nice cross by Mcgregor.
Paul will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mcgregor fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Paul on the side of the head.

Mcgregor feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pauls jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Mcgregor lands with a nice combination. Paul backs away looking to recover.
Paul shoots in looking for a takedown. Mcgregor tries to sprawl out of it but Paul keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcgregor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Paul moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd cheers as Mcgregor lands an impressive looking overhand right. Paul doesn't seem phased though.
Mcgregor has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Mcgregor slaps away a takedown attempt from Paul, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Paul looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Mcgregor scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Paul walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Paul goes for a double leg but Mcgregor avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mcgregor continues to drive forward.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mcgregor has clasped his hands together around Paul's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Paul regains half guard, as Mcgregor was trying to land strikes.
Paul is looking for a sweep. Mcgregor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Iceman Mcgregor dominated that round.
That's time! Paul's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Paul closes the distance and clinches up with Mcgregor, looking for a takedown. Paul pushes Mcgregor against the cage but Mcgregor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Paul takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Paul tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mcgregor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Paul somewhat.

and Mcgregor counters with a three punch combo that has Paul backing up. Paul nods at Mcgregor to acknowledge the strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dj Paul. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mcgregor bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Paul's head backwards.
Mcgregor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Paul. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Iceman Mcgregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paul shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Paul showed some decent athleticism there.
Paul seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dj Paul will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Mcgregor stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Paul throws up his legs and catches Mcgregor in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Mcgregor tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Paul! That came out of nowhere!
