Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Fairley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Fairley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Halo! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fairley takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Fairley throws a right hand that Halo ducks under and follows up with a left that Halo also avoids with ease. Fairley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Halo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fairley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Halo lands with an uppercut that bounces Fairley off the cage and back into range. Fairley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Halo manages to avoid it. Halo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fairley at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fairley on the wrong end of a nice jab. A bone on bone clash there as Halo blocks the leg kick.
Halo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fairley moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Halo just misses with a punch to the body.
Halo misses the jab. Fairley throws a series of punches but Halo avoids them all with ease. Halo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Fairley throws a nice head kick!

Halo throws a hook but Fairley avoids it easily. Halo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fairley. Fairley circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Halo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fairley moves out of range as Halo strikes. Halo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Halo sizes up Fairley with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Fairley ducks under a wild hook from Halo. Fairley tries to bum rush Halo with a series of wild strikes but Halo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Fairley throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Halo to counter with a crisp jab. Halo misses the shot to the body. Fairley ducks under a wild hook from Halo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Halo lunges at Fairley with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fairley's hand. Halo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fairley moves out of range as Halo strikes. Halo thows a left - swing and a miss! Halo misses with a wild body shot. Fairley scores with a shot to the body.
Fairley feints and then cracks Halo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Halo down. Fairley lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Fairley takes a body punch but keeps moving. Fairley misses the shot to the body. Fairley has closed the distance and engaged Halo in a clinch.
Fairley throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Halos head. Fairley lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Fairley is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Fairley lands on the inside with an uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fairley is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Fairley seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Fairley lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A right handed body shot lands from Fairley.
Fairley pushes Halo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Fairley trying to land knees to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fairley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Halo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fairley with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nick Fairley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A solid body kick from Fairley. Fairley lands a jab. Fairley connects with a solid leg kick. Fairley feints and then cracks Halo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Halo down. Fairley clobbers Halo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Fairley throws a series of punches but Halo avoids them all with ease. Fairley cracks Halo with a good jab. Fairley lands a nice looking kick to the body. Halo takes a step back to recover. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fairley cracks Halo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Fairley's jab looks to have found its range, popping Halo under the eye. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Fairley dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fairley misses with a body kick. Fairley throws a shot from downtown. Halo moves away and avoids it. Fairley falls off balance throwing a combination
and Halo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fairley throws a body kick that misses. Fairley misses with a hook. Halo jabs Fairley to the body, keeping him at a distance. Halo misses with a hook. Fairley ducked under it nicely. Fairley lands a nice looking body kick. Halo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fairley misses with a double jab
and Halo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Halo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fairley was well out of range. Poor timing from Halo. Halo avoids a kick to the body.
Halo is breathing heavily. Fairley connects with a solid leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice body punch from Fairley. Fairley fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Halo on the side of the head. Fairley misses with a wild combination.
Halo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Nick Fairley is winning the standup battle so far. Fairley looks to land a combination but Halo avoids it well. Halo jabbing away but nothing is landing. Fairley feints a jab promting Halo to slip. Fairley then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Halo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fairley scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Halo checks a low kick from Fairley. Fairley has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fairley lands with a short shot to the head. Fairley is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Halo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Halo takes a shot to the head. Fairley lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Fairley lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Fairley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Halo throws a nice looking combination but Fairley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Fairley lands with a nice body kick. Fairley cracks Halo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Fairley throws a body kick that misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fairley turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Halo takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Fairley looks for the body kick but Halo saw that one coming. Oooooh!!! Fairley has knocked Halo down with a huge combo! Fairley steps away and waves a wobbly Halo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Halo is rocked! and Fairley counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Halo! He's just covering up as Fairley starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
