With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Viktor Gragula!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castle closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gragula quickly recovers to half guard.

Castle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Castle has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Castle throws a shot from downtown. Gragula moves away and avoids it.

Gragula is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Castle defends well.

Gragula tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Castle is able to avoid easily.

Castle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gragula sprawls well initially but Castle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Gragula shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Castle sprawls well. Castle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gragula gets slowly back to his feet.

Gragula escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Castle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Castle manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gragula on his heels. He'll look to pass Gragula's guard now, I'm sure.

Gragula looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Castle decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gragula, up you get!

Castle feints and as Gragula raises his hands in defense, Castle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gragula has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Castle clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
