Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Struve! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leon Lewis! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis misses with a looping right. Sloppy strikes from Lewis. Those never looked like landing. Struve tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Lewis slips a jab and a cross from Struve.
Lewis moves in looking to clinch but Struve pushes him off. Struve drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Lewis has his hands on Struve's head, controlling the position. Lewis can't keep his opponent in guard - Struve advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Struve will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lewis is looking for a sweep. Struve is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Struve is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lewis has managed to free his arm - good work. Lewis is defending against the submission attempts here by Struve.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Struve is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lewis sees it coming and defends easily.

Struve is working to tighten his grip on Lewis's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lewis has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Struve is really squeezing tight and eventually Lewis passes out! Struve breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
