Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Goran Lovric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cullen Castrello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lovric comes to the cage accompanied by Guy Sebastian - Like A Drum. Castrello has chosen Like 70 as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castrello tries to clinch up but Lovric circles away and keeps his distance.
Castrello throws a hook but Lovric blocks it.
Lovric throws a solid leg kick but Castrello takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lovric.
Lovric avoids the body shot from Castrello.
Lovric defending well as Castrello loads up on a big left hand.
Castrello turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lovric throws a leg kick that is checked
and Castrello counters with a straight right hand.
Castrello misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lovric.
Lovric walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A cross from Lovric lands.
Lovric drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lovric pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Castrello is keeping the position for now.
Lovric slips nicely into half guard.

Lovric is trying to work for a kimura but Castrello is defending well.

Lovric has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lovric working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Castrello turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Lovric off and cradles Castrello's limp body as Lovric celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Goran Lovric!
