Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between matt hwhos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Cardenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). hwhos comes to the cage accompanied by Three 6 Mafia - It's A Fight (Best of Rocky 6). John Cardenas will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardenas thows a body kick. hwhos tries to catch it but that hurt him.
hwhos shoots in and drives through. Cardenas sprawls well.
Cardenas lands a with a good body shot.
Cardenas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and hwhos counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by hwhos.
hwhos trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Cardenas is trying to keep hwhos in close.
hwhos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
hwhos lands a couple of elbows.

hwhos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cardenas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

hwhos is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cardenas can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
hwhos loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Cardenas scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from hwhos land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. hwhos stands and salutes the crowd.
