Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Goranov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Natsisiwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Goranov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalle Natsisiwa!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goranov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Natsisiwa is looking for a sweep.
Goranov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Goranov scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Natsisiwa to see if he's OK.

Goranov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Natsisiwa has escaped the position, nice work there.
Natsisiwa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goranov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Goranov throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Natsisiwa works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Natsisiwa is refusing to be controlled, as Goranov sits in half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Natsisiwa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Goranov manages to avoid it.
Goranov tries for a takedown but Natsisiwa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Alexander Goranov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goranov dives in and grabs Natsisiwa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Natsisiwa pushes down on Goranov's head and hops out.
Natsisiwa misses the shot to the body.
Natsisiwa stuffs the takedown attempt from Goranov. Goranov gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Goranov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goranov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Natsisiwa defends well and Goranov ends up having to push Natsisiwa into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Goranov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Natsisiwa lands a nice looking body shot.
Goranov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Natsisiwa connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Goranov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Natsisiwa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Goranov.
Natsisiwa fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Goranov on the side of the head.
Natsisiwa leaves Goranov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Goranov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Natsisiwa's corner calls for a 1-2. Natsisiwa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Goranov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Goranov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Natsisiwa cracks Goranov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kalle Natsisiwa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Goranov looks for a takedown but Natsisiwa sprawls well.
Goranov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Goranov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Alexander Goranov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Goranov shoots for a double leg takedown but Natsisiwa sprawls well. He's pushed Goranov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Goranov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Horrible takedown by Goranov or perhaps it was just good defense by Natsisiwa which made him look bad.

Natsisiwa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Goranov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Goranov.
Natsisiwa scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Goranov doesn't seem bothered though.

Natsisiwa lands a nice hook to Goranov's body. Goranov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Goranov shoots in looking for a takedown. Natsisiwa tries to sprawl out of it but Goranov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Natsisiwa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Goranov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Goranov darts in looking for a takedown but Natsisiwa gets double underhooks and turns Goranov into the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kalle Natsisiwa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Goranov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Natsisiwa is fending him off so far but Goranov persists. Nope, Natsisiwa circles away and we're back to standing.

Natsisiwa sizes up Goranov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Natsisiwa swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Goranov.
Oh Goranov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Natsisiwa lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goranov throws a wild hook but Natsisiwa just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Goranov gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Natsisiwa raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kalle Natsisiwa!
Kalle Natsisiwa decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
